The poruwa ceremony is a beautiful option for weddings and is part of the Sri Lankan tradition. The “poruwa” is a beautifully decorated traditional platform upon which the vows are exchanged and chants performed to celebrate the bonds of marriage.

 The poruwa ceremonies have evolved to become the most popular ritual and an everlasting memory for bride and groom. The registration of your wedding, and the official signing, as overseen by the registrar can be arranged as part of the ceremonies held at the Hotel under the garlanded tent on the beach, decorated with fresh fragrant tropical flowers and a backdrop of the Indian Ocean.
